Due to illness  I'm not making any more Boley knives for the time being. Sorry for the shut down but I will resume at a later time.

Boley knives are at a temporary standstill due to illness in the family

CboleyA12.jpg (43512 bytes) I'm now offering my own versions of "HANDMADE KNIVES" and I have branded them " BOLEY " knives. If you aren't completely satisified with one of my knives and decide after receiving it, that it falls short of your expectations, email me within 5 days of receipt and you may return it for full refund  (provided it is returned in original and unused condition, Less my shipping cost).  After spending many hours of tutelage with my good friend and PKA  member, Joe Wheeler of Shawnee, OK,  I built myself a small shop where I design and shape my blades on a conventional milling machine, hand file work,[ Here ] then hand finish with 120-220-320-400 grit sandpaper, before sending them out for heat treating. The bar stock is 440c stainless and after shaping the blades , they are heat treated to about 56-57 Rockwell. Hand rubbed again with 400grit before installing guards and butt caps-rough polish, then install handles and shape them. final polishing is done with a buffer and finer grits working up to white rouge for final polish. I haven't achieved that " pristine mirror finish " yet , but they do look nice. The sheaths are all hand made from "thick bull hide " for each knife. At present, I only have two styles (hunting and drop point. I use different types of material for handles and make different styles of guards, bolsters, and butt caps. All are silver soldered, pinned, epoxied to knife .
